Frequently Asked Questions
How often should my dog be groomed?
Regular grooming keeps your furry friend looking fabulous and feeling great! We recommend:
- Fluffy Cut: Every 4 to 6 weeks
- Short (Not Shaved): Every 7 to 9 weeks
- Shaved: Every 10 weeks or more
Sticking to these schedules helps prevent matting and ensures a happy, comfortable pet.
What about fleas?
To keep our spa a flea-free paradise, we kindly ask that all pets arrive without any uninvited guests. Please use a monthly preventative from your vet to protect your pet. If a sneaky flea is discovered during their visit, a $20 cleanup fee will be added to ensure a pristine environment for all our guests.
Are there additional charges?
Our base prices are designed for pets on a 6-8 week grooming schedule. For grooms over 9 weeks, there may be a little extra charge, and over 16 weeks, new client pricing applies. Additional fees might also occur for:
- Extra TLC for difficult dogs
- Dematting services
- Special scissoring techniques
- Cleaning up extra messes (mud, filth, etc.)
- Rush grooming requests
- Unaltered males and females in season
- Late pickups
